ABSTRACT:
The name of the organization is “KALPAVRIKSH”. It was established
in the year 2000 and was registered under the Society Registration Act
[No. XXI of 1860] as an NGO in the year 2004. It endeavors to bring
together structures at the grass- root level for the development of the
Rural & Urban People.
KALPAVRIKSH’S works in the fields spanning the whole spectrum of
Human need and Endeavor, including Humanitarian, Peace & Human Rights,
Development, Education & Literacy, Health, Environment Protection
(concerns) & Population etc.
Our society is involved not only in the fields quoted above, but also
in Social Welfare, Employment Creation, Skill Training and Economic
Development, Gender Awareness and Action, and the informal Economic Sector.
What Is Kalpavriksh?The word KALPAVRIKSH literary means the “WISH
YIELDING TREE” It’s objectives are to bring compassion and love to
humanity who need it most. KALPAVRIKSH believes in taking sides
and extending solidarity and supports to Poorest & Marginalized
people, in their efforts to cope with and struggle to fight poverty and
injustice”.
What Kalpavriksh Aspires To Do? “KALPAVRIKSH” aspires to educate
people and make them conscious and concerned about social justice,
cooperation and self-reliance and give concrete expression to love in
humanity, so that all persons may individually and collectively grow into that
fullness of humanity as at creation.
